The City of Minnetonka, Minnesota retained Leland Consulting Group and a team of professionals led by LMN Architects of Seattle to prepare a strategy and plan for Ridgedale Center, a regional district located in the affluent western Minneapolis suburb of Minnetonka and anchored by the 40-year old Ridgedale Mall. Located at the middle of the district, the mall is slated to undergo a revitalization process that will include Nordstrom and an expanded Macy’s. The strategy provides a road map and action plan to leverage the mall investment with public-private investments (housing, office, more retail, and dining) that will catalyze surrounding development and redevelopment opportunities.
