Edward “Ted” Kamp provides market analysis in support of strategic land use decisions for public planners and private developers. Drawing on expertise in GIS, economic, and demographic analysis, he incorporates user-friendly information design to convey critical market intelligence to stakeholders. His work spans a variety of development contexts including urban renewal, suburban revitalization and transit-oriented developments.
Prior to his degree and subsequent consulting work in development and urban planning, he worked for five years at the Chicago advertising agency of Leo Burnett, Inc. as a research manager and planner. In addition, he taught the Urban Market Analysis course for planning graduate students at the University of Colorado-Denver for five years.
